Help Decide How United Way Dollars Are Invested in your Community
United Way of Goodhue, Wabasha & Pierce Counties needs volunteers to help review grants from local non-profit organizations that apply for Community Investment funding. Volunteers will work together to review program goals and results and make a recommendation to the United Way Board of Directors.  This is how funds that were raised during the recent annual United Way campaign are invested back into services that benefit people of this area.  Volunteers will be trained prior to the Community Investment Process that takes place at various times in February and March.   Volunteers find that this is an excellent way to learn more about the area and its human-service network of programs.  People who are interested in learning more about this volunteer opportunity should contact Tonya Roth at 651-388-6309 or tonya.roth@uw-gwp.org.
